By creating an account or using CareerOS, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

CareerOS is an AI-powered career management platform that helps you track job applications, manage resumes, prepare for interviews, and organize your job search. The service includes:

• Job tracking and pipeline management
• AI-generated resume and cover letter content
• Interview scheduling and preparation tools
• Google Calendar integration for interview imports
• Resume and template management
• A browser extension for saving job listings

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use CareerOS.

Accounts may require administrator approval before access is granted. We reserve the right to deny or revoke access at our discretion.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the platform without permission
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others
• Use the platform to generate misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive content
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to CareerOS, including resumes, profiles, notes, and career data. By using the platform, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely to provide the service.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you upload. We do not claim ownership of your data and will not use it for purposes unrelated to providing the service.

6. AI-Generated Content

CareerOS uses AI models to generate resume content, job insights, and interview preparation materials. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all AI-generated content before use.

We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will meet specific requirements or produce particular outcomes in your job search.

7. Third-Party Integrations

CareerOS integrates with third-party services such as Google Calendar. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms and privacy policies. You can connect and disconnect integrations at any time from your settings page.

8. Organizations

CareerOS supports organizational accounts. If you are invited to or join an organization, the organization administrator may have access to your profile and activity within that organization. Your personal data outside the organization context remains private.

9. Service Availability

We strive to keep CareerOS available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.

10. Intellectual Property

The CareerOS platform, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

CareerOS is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

We are not responsible for the outcome of your job search, the accuracy of AI-generated content, or decisions made by employers based on materials created using our platform.

12. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or for any reason at our discretion, with notice when possible.

Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration.
